One of the great things about a trip to Dubai is that you will find yourself with no shortage of sights to see and attractions to visit. Dubai city sightseeing will provide you with plenty to keep your eyes busy and interested and thanks to the many top tourist attractions in Dubai you will not be short of things to do either. Of course, we could not include everything within this one article, but we will be featuring a few top recommendations.

Wild Wadi Water Park:

This city is known for some of the best theme parks in the world and Wild Wadi helps contribute to Dubai being deserving of such a title. If you like your attractions water-themed (could be a nice way to cool down after experiencing the heat of the day) it is hard to recommend somewhere more than the Wild Wadi Water Pak which is located in front of the breathtaking view of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.

On offer at the park are 30 different water-themed rides and other attractions that are suitable for a range of ages. It is a park promise plenty to do and takes its striking theme from the story of Juha who a character from Arabian folklore is. Before attending it is a good idea to visit the parks official website, as not only will you be able to see the latest attractions and events on offer, Wild Wadi Water Park ticket prices can be reduced when they have promotions active so you may grab yourself a discounted day out.

Dubai Fountains:

Are you familiar with the famous Bellagio fountains located in Las Vegas? Well, the team behind those fountains also brought this city the Dubai Fountain show. The beautiful display (which thanks to some great lighting will also look fantastic at night) can be viewed at a more closer standing level, or you can view from the comfort of one of the very nearby cafes for added comfort and a bite to eat.

Dubai Sightseeing:

The fantastic display is made up of a whopping 6,000 lights and features 22, 000 gallons of airborne water. You can also experience the event in a different way from the sea, by hopping on to a Dubai Fountain Lake ride. This fountain performance is not just about what you see, though. Adding to the experience are all sorts of memorable pieces of music that help to complete the event to another level with Dubai sightseeing

Furthermore, you do not need to worry about booking or paying when it comes to this attraction, you can just turn up and enjoy the experience for free.  Do check the times when the fountain performances are active though, so you do not miss out on the spectacle.

Deira Creek Areas:

You will find Deira on the northern bank of Dubai Creek. This area contains winding streets that help showcase different nationalities that have set up home in the city of Dubai. What is nice is how ancient traditions seem to peacefully sit aside to more modern ones. You can spot very old dhows loading and unloading right by modern-looking hotels, business buildings and modern styled banks. One of the reasons for many of traveller’s visits will likely be the souks (markets). These busy areas are full of keen shoppers throughout the day. You may like to see the largest gold bazaar in the world which is called the Deira Gold Souk. Or there is the Deira Spice Souk which sells a huge amount of spices that include cumin, paprika, saffron, sumac and frankincense. There is also an area selling a plentiful range of fish, too.

Burj Khalifa

Not only is this the tallest building in the Middle East, but it is also the tallest man-made structure in the world! As tourist attractions in the UAE go, many visitors to the region will want to be visiting this breathtaking construction. The Burj Khalifa stands at a height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft) and has a roof height (not including its antenna) of 828 m (2,717 ft). The building of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004 and the exterior was completed in 2009. The design was created by Adrian Smith, a man whose firm also designed One World Trade Center. To witness a truly amazing view from the top, you can purchase Burj Khalifa at the top tickets for your visit.
