Lego Classes Chantilly

The children have two different projects a day on architecture and engineering. Projects begin with an outline and a small demonstration by the instructor and continue with design and assignment building. Students are given 100,000 pieces of Lego material to build their projects of engineering.

Engineering terminology is introduced to students and they are encouraged to use it during the whole class when sorting pieces and asking questions or helping one another. Instructors move about and help children realize the goals of their project.

When the rudimentary needs of the project have been fulfilled by the participants they are cheered to promote applications of engineering of the principles and methods of construction by investigating, checking, transforming and rebuilding.
