Soya granules recipes are easy, quick and full nutrition-packed. In India, a large number of the population prefer plant-based diets including vegetables and fruits which are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. When it comes to protein-rich food, we don't get to consume 100% nutrition in it. However, soy products are promising for nutrition content food. When consuming soy products like soy mince, soy chunks, soy milk, tofu etc they provide an alternative source of protein, vitamins, minerals and fibers. So, if you are interested to incorporate soy products in your daily food habits, here is an easy nutrela granules recipe.

Ingredients required to cook soya keema bhurji:

It is possible to cook soya keema bhurji in 45 minutes if all the ingredients are ready to start your cooking.

•    1 cup of soya granules

•    1 potato cut in cubes

•    2 onions equally chopped

•    3 medium tomatoes

•    2 green chillies

•    Mustard oil

•    1/2 tsp of jeera

•    1 bay leaves

•    Salt

•    1 tsp of mirch powder

•    Coriander powder step

•    1 tsp of cumin powder

•    Ginger paste

•    Garlic paste

•    1 tsp of gram masala powder

Instructions to be followed while cooking:

Soy products are low in saturated fat and high in protein, vitamin C, and folate. They are widely preferred by people as they are also a good source of fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.

Step 1: Boil a pan full of water. Turn off the heat and add soya granules in it. Soak it for 15 minutes or until soya chunks doubles its volume.

Step 2: Gently squeeze the granules and discard the water. Now wash the nutrela soya granules in water for 2 to 3 times to remove the soya odour. It is best advisable to use drinking water for this purpose.

Step 3: Now, use another pan to heat oil. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and fry to mix. Along with it, add powdered spices, potatoes, green chillies and fry them till it dries up.

Step 4: Now add the soaked soya granules in the spice mix. Add half a cup of water to mix the spice up.

Step 5: Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes in medium heat. Once the vegetables are cooked well check for the water level. If there is any extra moisture turn on the heat until it dries up completely.

Step 6: To add more taste and to make it look attractive add chopped fresh coriander leaves on it.
