Manchester-inspired Air Max 90s trainers

Nike and The Basement have collaborated Nike Air Max 90 Damen Sale to create a 'City Pack' collection of Air Max 90s, and the Manchester shoe will drop this weekend. The black and neon trainers are the second to be released from the collection, with the Glasgow style selling out almost instantly last week. The collaboration sees streetwear community phenomenon The Basement team up with the famed athletics brand to relaunch the sneakers nearly three decades later. Popular for their visible airbag heels, Air Max 90s first debuted in 1990 and are being re-released in three special colourways inspired by UK cities. The Glasgow kicks featured an orange Nike Air Max 90 Mid Winter tongue inspired by the traffic cone that sits on the Duke of Wellington statue in the city centre. The Manchester design sees the retro shoes released in an all-black palette with flashes of neon, allegedly to play homage to workwear. A post on Basement's Instagram account, accompanying a promo video filmed on an industrial estate and the city centre's back streets, reads: "The second iteration of the BSMNT Air Max 90 captures Manchester’s fearlessness – a defiant city bonded by the challenges it must overcome." The Manchester Air Max 90s are also Nike Air Max Thea Damen Sale water-resistant, wrapped in Cordura. the BSMNT Air Max 90s Manchester edition will be released on October 12 at 8am.
