They have more than thirty varieties to choose from including Aloo Parantha (A mixture of boiled potatoes and spices), Gobhi Parantha (Cauliflower mixed with spices) etc. Pt. Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan Paranthe Wale, shop no 34 is the oldest and the most popular shop amongst food connoisseurs.

  1. Kuremal Mohanlal Kulfi Wale

Kulfi is a frozen dessert made with condensed milk, nuts and different flavors. They prepare it with fresh fruits that are stuffed with the mixture, then frozen, sliced and served. They have more than 60 varieties of Kulfies, mango and orange kulfi being the most popular ones. Located at Plot No. 1165-66, Kucha Pati Ram, Sitaram Bazaar, Chawri Bazaar.

  1. Karim’s

 If you want to experience authentic Mughlai Cuisine, head over to this historic restaurant called Karim’s established in 1913, is famous for their Chicken Korma, Seekh Kebabs, Biryani, and lots more. Located in Gali Kababian, Jama Masjid, Delhi. As you walk through the street, you’ll see many shops selling different delicacies like Sheermal (A sweet bread made with nuts, roasted in a tandoor and dipped in sugar syrup), Shahi tukda (A dessert made with white bread fried in clarified butter and topped with condensed milk and nuts) and much more.

  1. Daulat ki chaat

This is a frothy, creamy, sweet dessert known as ‘Daulat ki Chaat'. It is made with churned milk as the froth is carefully collected and prepared overnight and takes about 6 hours to be prepared are served in the morning and has a cloudy texture. It is only available in winters.You’ll find many hawkers selling it across Chandni Chowk.

  1. Matia Mahal

A street called Matia Mahal, Jama Masjid is popular for hawkers selling fresh fish, kebabs and fried chicken. Nihari and Paaya are other famous dishes that you should give a try. Aslam Chicken is another popular shop and has an obsession amongst the connoisseurs. They sell Butter chicken which is not same as the butter chicken you get elsewhere, this is flavorsome roasted chicken tossed in a big dollop of butter and spices and served with mint sauce.
