Learn Dream Interpretation by Studying the Story of Joseph

One day, the chief of butlers and the chief of bakers were put into the prison, too, because they offended the king who they serve. Joseph was commanded to serve them in the prison. The two chiefs each had a dream at the same night, which conceives of a different message.

The chief butler saw a vine before him. There were three branches with buds and blossoms. The blossoms became grapes. He then saw the cup of Pharaoh in his hand. He saw himself squeezed the grape juice into the cup and handed it to Pharaoh.

Joseph interpreted the dream like this: the three branches represented three days. The dream means that the chief butler will be released within three days and be given back his original occupation which is to pour wine for Pharaoh.
