Otherwise, anybody would be able to access it and spread malware. It is always wise to use WPA or WPA2 encryption. Plus, if possible, do not broadcast your Wi-Fi network. 6. Keep your Important Details Safe

This is one of the most challenging things to do; as soon as you share some personal information on the internet, there are chances that it may go viral, and hackers may misuse it. So be cautious about the things that you are sharing on the internet. Plus,  save all the critical and personal data present on your computer.  Through social engineering, it's easy for hackers to access information. They might get a hold on your passwords and sneak your personal information. Thus, keep all the data secured far from anyone's reach.

7. Update Your Computer Passwords Regularly

It's crucial to lock your system and all the essentials files along with the app, especially if you use a desktop. You might not know when another person can make use of your desktop and sneak into your personal data or by anyhow add malware to it. The same goes for the laptop as well. 8. Do not forget to Log-Out

Especially if you are using public computers, ensure you log out from the portal or the website as soon as your work is done. Make sure you do not leave any hint of your password or account.
