Since its founding in 1986 with 30 students and six full-time faculty members, Tianjin International School has experienced steady growth and expansion. One of the first international schools of the modern era in China, today it has more than 430 students and over 120 faculty members offering academic programs from the Foundation Class for three-year-olds to 12th grade. TIS is also the founding member of International Schools of China, an organization which now has six schools in China with approximately 1,600 students and over 500 full- and part-time staff members.tianjin international school
