Italy is world-famous for its typical food products such as wine and Italian cheese. Not only are Italian cheeses world-famous, but they are also an important part of local cuisine.

Cheese is one of the staples of the diet of the Italian people and is even indicated as infant food at the stage of food introduction or as a "remedy" for some types of diseases, for example. Get the best and authentic cheese from the Italian Cheese Supplier.

For all that, there are more than 450 types of cheese, produced in the 20 regions of the country, many of them typical of more than one region. Anyway, it was pretty hard to come up with such a shortlist to present to you.

So if you like cheese and typical Italian products, visit italianfood.net and come with me and we will be delighted. We are one of the leading Italian Organic Suppliers.

Typical Italian cheese by region of Italy:

Each region of Italy has more than 15 typical cheeses, and some types are produced in more than one region.

Whether it's cow's or sheep's milk, cheese is always present on the Italian dish. And because of that, there is this infinity of types spread across the country.

The traditional cheese from the Abruzzo region, pecorino Canestrato di Castel del Monte, is a traditional agrifood product (PAT). It is a pecorino cheese, i.e. sheep's milk.

It is made only with sheep's milk, as its name implies, salt and rennet. It is called castrate because of the basket marks on the crust. In Italian, the canister is a basket.

Mozzarella Buffalo:

This is one of the most famous and beloved Italian cheeses: Although mozzarella is a widespread cheese in Brazil, it has nothing to do with Italian mozzarella cheese. And when I speak of nothing to do, it is nothing at all.

After the explanation, let's get down to business. Buffalo Mozzarella is a cheese made from buffalo milk only and is certified. It is mainly produced in the provinces of Caserta and Salerno.

It is a soft white cheese and the name mozzarella comes from Italian authentic food, which is the way they cut and work the cheese in their preparation.
