What is the LCD module

The LCD module is an LCM (LCD Module), which means an LCD display product that integrates glass and an LCD driver. It provides users with a standard LCD display driver interface (4, 8 and VGA types) ), The user operates according to the interface requirements to control the LCD to display correctly.

Use and maintenance of the LCD module

1. When the LCD module is connected to the power supply and disconnected from the power supply, it must be performed according to the timing chart. That is, the signal level must be input at a positive power supply (5 ± 0.25V). If the signal level is input before the power supply is stably connected or disconnected, the integrated circuit in the module will be damaged and the module will be damaged.

2. Dot-matrix modules are high-channel-count liquid crystal display devices that display contrast, viewing angle, temperature, and driving voltage. So Vee should be adjusted to the best contrast and viewing angle. If Vee is adjusted too high, it will not only affect the display, but also the life of the display device.

3. When used at the lower limit of the specified operating temperature range, the display response is slow. When used at the upper limit of the specified operating temperature range, the entire display surface will turn black. This is not damage, and the temperature range can be restored to normal.

4. Press hard on the display part, an abnormal display will be generated, as long as the power is cut off and reconnected, it can be restored.

5. When the surface of the liquid crystal display device or module is fogged, do not work with electricity, because the electrode chemical reaction will occur at this time, and disconnection will occur.

6. When used for a long time under sunlight and strong light, there will be residual images in the covered area.
