Personally I'm old school runescape gold all

Personally I'm old school runescape gold all in for this trade-off but I could just see reddit whining in 6 months or following RuneFest or whatever and faster-ticks getting the newest bank-rework meme.As someone who quit playing RS but nevertheless plays OSRS in addition to other hot MMOs I can not stress enough how significant the quicker tick rate is to your own game. The responsiveness of your game as well as the UI are the greatest reasons I refuse to play it with actions pub style combat. There is not any additional"better" update. Responsive gameplay makes good games people are willing to spend money on.

Given the tick change is a massive project at the scope of the entire game, has got the idea appear to change it for parts of the runescape game in isolation that would profit from it the most, for example combat? I'm convinced that is also quite an endeavour to implement, but it would enable slow rollout and a simpler time testing server stress. Every part of the runescape game broken by altering the tick could theoretically be looked at one at a time rather than all at the same time, with decreasing returns on which actions benefit from the responsiveness. Of course it is still a big job even then given that supporting only combat to begin would also likely require encouraging motion and any other heavily-tied systems if a fantastic alternative for making this incremental is discovered.

As for me, I think this is the best idea Jagex have had in a very long time. Sure it's taking a page from games such as Path of Exile, but this really is a fresh way for both returning and new runescape players to approach the runescape game. Hopefully these leagues may also help bring out some more upgrades to areas like Zeah, that are notorious for being overly large without enough content (though they have expanded on it fairly nicely since Kebos).

It's PERFECTLY fine if they take pages out of good features from other games with an OSRS spin. Personally, Im quite excited to play this and that I dont actually care about the benefits! This is the kind of game style I didnt know I wanted but now I can't wait!! I got back into osrs when I watched swampletics at incident 3. I've seen a number of people say similar things in comments with this subreddit too. I see this as jagex trying to create that experience for the ordinary runescape player with a good quality of life and extra goals that's a great thing imo.

This looks great for a first league. It OSRS Gold could be amazing to observe some speedrunning categories included in the future however, such as fastest to complete a solo raid, fastest to hit certain overall levels or skill goals, or even pursuit runs, all predicated on time logged in such as King of the skill was. Speedrunning categories could work incredibly for osrs with some tweaked fall rates to remove some of the significant rng issues inherent to speedrunning stuff on osrs.Has there been some discussion of this type of stuff for future leagues?
