Maintaining a commercial pool is a tougher job compared to the residential pool. The safety, as well as the health of the swimmers in the Commercial Pools, depends upon many factors. These aspects include the water balance as well as the care of the equipment. Compared to residential pools, the size of the commercial pools is more prominent, so the cost is also higher. The material used in commercial pools is expensive and needs to be maintained regularly.

Difference between the Commercial and the Residential Pool

The residential pools are more natural to clean as fewer people are using it. The residential pools are not as deep as the commercial pools, and fewer people use the residential pool compared to the residential one. That is why residential pools are easier to clean compare to commercial pools. As fewer people use the residential pools, that does not mean that you do not need to clean that.

They are outside, so it's better to cover the pool when you are not using it as the outside elements can make it contaminated. The pool can also get damaged in case of infrequent cleaning. The risk of contamination is more as some people are using it. There are commercial pools that offer heated water also. This feature can lead to the growth of algae and bacteria. So it is preferred that you clean the pool regularly.

Commercial Pools Are Not Chlorinated Regularly

You might come across chlorinated smell, which looks quite stronger in the commercial ones compared to the residential pools. But this is not chlorine. These are chloramines, which are a by-product of chlorine. It works on similar lines as chlorine - kill the bacteria and the algae. It means that if more the amount of chlorine you use, the dirtier the pool will be. To normalize and make the pool super chlorinated, you need to increase the chlorine level in the pool, and you need to add 3 to 5 times of average level of chlorine to it.

Cleaning in a commercial pool involves a lot of people, and it is a time taking process. Since the size of these pools is quite huge, so the quality of cleaning these pools also reduces. When it comes to residential cleaning, since the size is smaller compared to the commercial one, so the quality is the top priority. The residential pools should undergo frequent cleaning as compared to the commercial ones.

Quality of the Technicians

When you look for technicians, make sure you are looking for a higher quality technician as for cleaning commercial pools, you will need an expert. Since they are big and you need to pump out a larger quantity of water from the pool with the proper equipment, so you need to use it carefully. In the residential pool, the cleaning process is comparatively more straightforward compared to the commercial ones as they are a smaller size, and a lesser number of people are using it.
