Hello reader,
This article in which I shared my journey of a healthy person to a kidney patient.

My name is Supriya Gupta from Bangalore. I work in an import and export company as a manager. I was born and brought up in Mumbai, but for my studies and job, I live in Bangalore with one of my friends. In my family, my mother is a government school teacher, and my father is running a business of clothes. My younger brother is studying in IIT Mumbai.

Let’s talk about my health and especially my kidneys.

I am not a person who likes to explore foods and worried much about what was on my plate to eat. Due to my job and studies, I usually got some time to cook nutritious food for me. That became the number one reason for my unhealthy kidneys. My diet was not worthy, which was why most of the time, I felt weak. At that time, my periods were not on time, my skin was very pale and dry, I was diagnosed with repeated UTI, and my legs are swollen.

I was so familiar with my health problems that I became used to them. My roommate always taunts me that I am a careless girl who didn’t give a damn about my health. But, all her mockeries didn’t encourage me to approach a doctor to get to know about my health.

One day, a drastic change came into my life when I fell from the stairs, and it hurts my back. My friends took me to the hospital near my house, and there I introduced to my kidney problem. The doctors told me that I am suffering from a kidney infection. That was the reason why my feet are swollen, and I felt from the stairs. Yes, I was also shocked to hear it. There are thousands of questions in my mind, and I didn’t know what should be my next step. That time, I thought I was going to die, it’s my last day, there is so much to explore, about my family, etc.

When I was juggling with so many thoughts in my mind, one of my friends (whose father is a doctor) took me to him. The doctor told me that my urinary tract infection spread to my kidneys and make them infected. That time, I got to know that urinary tract infection is the hint from your kidneys that something is not going well with them. Allopathic nephrologist prescribed me some medicines and the precautions that were compulsory to follow.

I started consuming allopathic medicines from which I had observed drastic changes in my health, but they were all are temporary. Whenever I visited my doctor, he always increases the number of my medicines. It was all very confusing and irritating; then I told everything to my parents when I cannot handle my health by myself.

My father felt very bad after knowing about my health condition. At the very next moment, he booked his tickets and came to me. After seeing my medical reports and communicate with my doctor, my father suggested Ayurvedic Kidney treatment.

I was not an appreciator of natural things and not interested in Ayurveda. But, my father didn’t give me time to think about it and took me to Karma Ayurveda.

I do not remember, but might be some of my father’s cousins told him about Karma Ayurveda as his wife took treatment from there. To gain complete information about Ayurvedic treatment, I scroll all social media, and then I saw the YouTube videos of Dr. Puneet Dhawan. There are lacs of kidney disease survivors like me, who took Ayurvedic kIdney treatment and got brilliant results from it. I was shocked to know that there is no treatment in Allopathy to rejuvenate the damaged kidney and to lower the increased creatinine level.

During my Allopathic treatment, I got to know so many things about kidney disease and symptoms. Due to kidney infection, the level of urea, creatinine, and protein was very high in my blood. Many a time, I observed protein in my urine, which counted as a symptom of the ill kidney.

Now, it’s time for how I got relieved from my kidney infection and its symptoms with the help of Ayurvedic kidney treatment.

When my father and I approached Dr. Puneet Dhawan, he suggested to us the following of the three guidelines to terminate my kidney infection.

  • A renal diet plan – Due to my ill kidney, I was not allowed to eat canned, processed, and frozen food products. Along with that, foods that are high sources of protein, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, carbohydrates, and sugar are restricted for me. I was not allowed to eat mango, banana, and orange. But, all these changes in my diet has helped me a lot with my health.
  • Ayurvedic medications – The doctor prescribed me some Ayurvedic medications that I consumed on time without making any excuses. Yes, the taste of Ayurvedic medicines are not good, but they turned beneficial for my kidneys.
  • Precautions – Yes, some changes in my lifestyle were significant to keep my body healthy and fit. I was not allowed to smoke, consume alcohol, and tobacco (I don’t do any of these unnecessary things). Along with that, to keep my body and mind healthy, I only preferred to do yoga and meditate.
Remember, if my kidneys are not working well, then vigorous exercise is not suitable for me. With the help of Ayurvedic kidney treatment, I got relieved from kidney infections and its related complications. My creatinine, urea, and protein levels are coming down to their normal stage. Along with that, I got to know a lot of things about kidneys, diseases, and a healthy diet

I would suggest all kidney patients out there, that dialysis or transplant is not the solution for your kidney disease. They only work on the upper layer of the disease, instead of focusing on its causes. If you or anyone in your known is facing kidney-related illness, then approached Ayurvedic doctor for kidney and lived a healthy life.

Thank you for giving your precious time and reading my story!
