Heat Sink of LED lighting

Since the LED light itself has no infrared and ultraviolet rays, the LED light has no cooling function, and the heat sink path of LED lighting can only be derived through the heat sink closely combined with the LED bead board.

The heat sink must have the function of heat conduction, heat convection and heat radiation.

  Generally speaking, if the heat from the heat source to the heatsink surface distance is less than 5mm, so as long as the thermal conductivity of the material is greater than 5, the heat can be derived, the rest of the heat must be dominated by thermal convection.

  Most LED lighting sources still use low voltage (VF = 3.2v), high current (IF = 200 ~ 700mA) light beads, due to the high heat while working, it must use high thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy.

  There are usually die-cast aluminum heat sink, extruded aluminum heat sinks, stamping heat sink.

  Die-casting aluminum heat sink is a technology of pressure casting parts, the liquid copper-aluminum alloy poured into the die casting machine inlet, by the die casting machine die casting, casting a pre-designed mold limited shape heat sink.
