The competition is intense and can be overwhelming, but it is what it is. You can only give your best and use all the NEET tips and tricks that you’ve picked up to tackle the 720 marks paper.

There is no shortcut, but here are some hacks to crack NEET-

-NOTES:

There is no shortage of study material for NEET in the market, but don’t waste away your time by going through all of them. Not only will you be overwhelmed and stressed, you will also not be able to accomplish much.

Your NCERT books should be your first priority. Also, remember to make brief notes while you study, so that you can revise easily whenever you want. One of the most important NEET tips is that you should have the best set of notes, so make sure you have your set in your hands’ reach.

-HOW TO STUDY

You have three subjects, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, and they are as different as different can be, so your approach to them must be different too. The way you study Physics is different than the way you study Biology and Chemistry and the time you devote to them is different too. So make sure that you approach your subjects in a way that you can make the most of the time while you are studying them. Use diagrams and figures where needed.

You can find a lot of NEET tricks and tips, but nobody can tell you what is the best way to approach a subject as it differs from person to person. So you need to test the waters yourself and find the right approach yourself.

-TIME MANAGEMENT

Time management is important in our daily lives but more so when preparing for competitive exams like NEET. We only have 24 hours on our hands, and so much to do, so time management is undoubtedly one of the most important hack to crack NEET.

Once you’ve got a good grasp on your time, you are a step closer to your dream of cracking NEET. Ideally, you should divide your day into three parts, each of 8 hours and use them for sleep-study-leisure.

You read that right, you can give yourself 8 hours of sleep and 8 hours of leisure, only if you make sure that the remaining 8 hours, you are giving your 100% to your books.

If you go to coaching centres, even then you can follow the 8-8-8 break of the day because the centres which provide the best coaching for NEET realize that their students need not always stick to the classroom and encourage self-study.

Otherwise, you can work out a schedule that will suit you, only remember that NEET requires nothing less than your 100%.

-HEALTH

Your health is very important. While preparing for an exam as difficult as NEET, you need to be healthy both physically and mentally. Your focus on your studies needs to be consistent which won’t be possible if you fall sick. To crack NEET you need to give your 100%. Nothing less will be acceptable, so you need to be fit and healthy.

-COACHING

Coaching centres are important for various reasons. Not only they divulge NEET entrance study tips to their students, they also provide you with the right atmosphere to study. You can learn topics in depth and also clear all your doubts.

If you are an independent student, find yourself a mentor. It may be difficult to find a person who can give you the best coaching for NEET, but you need a mentor so that you have someone to get back to when you have doubts or are facing difficulties in general. Your mentor will also help you keep a track on your deadlines and help you stay on your path while you work hard.

-PRACTICE

Your studies don’t mean anything until you put them into action and solve MCQs. NEET does not deal with lengthy answers. It comprises of MCQs, and chances of making mistakes here are higher. The negative marking makes it all the more difficult because you can’t rely on guesswork either.

So make sure that you practice your MCQs daily. Solve at least 40 MCQs from each subject every day. Pay more attention to biology as biology holds more weightage in your NEET exams compared to Physics and Chemistry. Also, before your exams dawn on you, solve at least 60 mock papers and previous years’ papers. If not in your coaching centres, you will find them on the internet as many e-learning websites have them available online.

If you work hard from the very beginning, nothing can stand between you and your goal, so work hard and get that white coat you’ve dreamed of! All the best to all you future doctors! You can do it!
