Permanent Australian Residence Visa

You can follow a phased process to apply for a PR visa in Australia. When you have collected all the necessary documents and decided on the visa category, submit an expression of interest (EOI) to SkillSelect.

The SkillSelect is an online system that processes applications or EOIs received for Australian visas. Your submitted profile will be given a definite score, which must be at least 60 points. Now, wait for the answer from the authorities. If your profile is selected, you are invited to apply for the desired visa. You must now collect all the main documents and attach the same to the application form.

Requirements for Australian Citizenship

For many immigrants with a permanent residency visa, the next logical step is to apply for citizenship after a while. That is if they like the country and want to continue living there as citizens.

According to the Government, the new rules for A Urban Citizenship requirements were introduced to ensure that only suitable people who believed fully in asking ' Australian Values are given citizenship.

One of the most obvious changes is that people applying for Urban Citizenship needs must have lived for at least four years in Australia with a permanent residence visa. This effectively eliminates those on a two-year permanent residence visa

Other changes include: 

A more rigorous English proficiency test to include good grades in writing, reading, and speaking. Candidates must show clear evidence that they are fully integrated into the community in which they live. Integration factors in employment history, enrollment in educational institutions and active members of community organizations.

Show evidence of faith in religious tolerance

It must be shown that they respect the rights of all, especially women and children. They must also prove that they fully respect women Applicants can only apply for citizenship three times. And any applicant who is automatically entered for a test will be disqualified without recourse to any form of appeal.
