Bali, Indonesia is one of the most beautiful destination spots that every traveler should visit. If you have thought about going to Bali, you probably saw that everyone loves to dive there because the water is beautiful and clear while being full of marine life. If you want to dive in Bali, here are 8 diving spots that you should check out.

Nusa Lembongan

If you want to learn and experience diving in Bali but do not want to be too intense, you can sign up in one of the free diving schools in Nusa Lembongan that like to add yoga practice into their teachings. This lets you learn how to rest, relax and breathe while you explore the ocean’s depths.

Drop-off in Tulamben

Mount Agung erupted in 1963 and the lava flow from that eruption pushed the Liberty Wreck in the sea and you can see all the beauty that it has to offer. It is great for newbies and skilled divers alike because you can see things as near as 3 meters deep while the wall extends down to 70 meters deep. It is great for more experienced divers who want to test their more technical skills.

Bat Cave in Nusa Penida

If you want to explore an underwater cave, then the bat cave is where you should go for Bali diving. To reach the tunnel to enter the cave, you have to dive down to about 30 meters and you will go through it and see less and less light until you reach the surface of the cave full of bats! Check out a Bali dive package to start planning your next dive.

Temple Garden in Pemuteran

Local dive centers decided to make this environmental conservation program that adventurous people can enjoy. Experienced and new divers can enjoy the sites that this diving spot has to offer.

Crystal bar in Nusa Penida

If you have always wanted to see a sunfish, also known as mola-mola, when you dive, this is the perfect place for you. While this huge fish is timid, you could probably snag a few pictures or see a few of them. Wear a 5mm full suit by the way - these waters are cold.

Manta Point in Nusa Penida

If you want to see manta rays, then you have to check out Manta Point. If you see 5-6 of them, you might be lucky enough to see a ballet. Keep in mind that you can only dive there when the captain says it is safe, otherwise strong currents can put you in danger.

USAT Liberty Wreck in Tulamben

If you want an easy to access wreck site to dive, this is your best bet. It is a shore dive that lets many people explore it and the deepest point is only 30 meters under the surface. It is best to be there at 6:00 for sunrise before other people get there.

Seraya Secrets

You can go muck diving here - and it is not gross as the name would suggest. You will see lots of black volcanic sand and see the "nursery" of the ocean because young creatures like to develop here!

If you want to go diving in Bali, we highly recommend going to one of these spots!
