You Can Do These 5 Tips To Promote Your Law Firm

There are many ways to promote law firms or law firms. You don't need to spend a lot of money on marketing or you have to be friendly or charming all the time to attract lots of clients. You only need to formulate a law firm marketing plan that focuses on your activities, the right target audience and applies consistently.

A number of successful lawyers in the United States summarize some tips on how to simply promote law firms to the American Bar Association (ABA) Journal. We will explain these tips in serial writing. Here are the simple tips:

First, some lawyers believe that if they do a good job, clients will automatically come to them. That is a wrong assumption. Keep reminding everyone of your work. Everyone (the client) needs to be reminded about your skills and achievements.

Second, no matter how busy you are, try to set lunch or have coffee together with several people that you can make as prospective referrals once a week. A referral is mutual cooperation to provide references to clients. For example, capital market advocates who provide clients' references to advocates who focus on employment when experiencing this problem. Or exchange references between advocates or notaries.

How to have lunch or a coffee together is considered better than you only contact your referral when it's quiet clients.

Third, if you are invited to attend a business reception, ask the organizer if you can come to give a speech at the event. It's because the opportunity to give a speech can be used to introduce yourself to the people present.

Fourth, if you have a blog that is related to your practice, post posts that contain information that is really useful for capturing clients. You must do it often so people can see the potential of your law firm.

Fifth, if most law firms will send cards on public holidays or during holidays, you can send cards at different times. The goal is that your cards are not stacked between cards from other firms that also send greeting cards on holidays.

An example is Lucian Pera, a lawyer from a law firm in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. He sent his client and prospective client a card on Elvis Presley's birthday. Pera chose Evis's birthday because the king of pop was synonymous with the city of Memphis. Understandably, Elvis is buried in this city.

So, try to find what is unique from your area. Send a greeting card about the uniqueness, so that when someone (a prospective client) is facing legal problems in the area, then he immediately thinks of contacting you.
