Mohit Bharatiya | The deadly Coronavirus which began infecting people in the city of Wuhan in China has spread towards more than 4000 people across the globe and has led to the death of more than 400 people. This deadly virus has proven to be a national and global threat. The countries at a high risk of this deadly virus are Thailand, Japan, Hongkong, etc. The virus which was announced to have been found in a man traveling from Wuhan the United States has spread to various parts of the world such as Australia, Sri Lanka, and many more countries. India is now at risk of the widespread of this deadly virus across its territory. Few people have been infected in India with the virus and with no vaccine ready to combat and cure infected people. Coronavirus is creating a sense of fear globally and there has been no medication in place that has been discovered to date.

North Korea, who has locked its doors to any tourist or travelers making an entry into its country has been carrying out prevention measures to prevent the disruption of the virus from entering its borders. Other countries are looking to follow the same route to prevent this epidemic from spreading within its country. Scientists in the USA have stated that Wuhan is shut out from the world until a cure is procured to be able to treat this life-threatening virus.

The coronavirus spread was detected to have started from a fish market in Wuhan and the infected animal was consumed by the people in Wuhan. This led to a big outbreak throughout China. The rampant spread has occurred due to the support of China’s Lunar New Year which involved thousands of people traveling to China to celebrate. The virus which is spread through coughing or contact with the infected person such as touching hands has been very active during this celebration season in China. It is infecting people in a fast manner and there is no way to stop it except to shut out Wuhan to prevent the risk of rampant spread to other countries.

India is now amongst the top 30 countries having a high-risk spread of the coronavirus. There have been several testing and investigations still going on to find a vaccine or medication for the virus. The airport inspections in every country have grown strict. Medical checkups and scanning procedures are being carried out to scrutinize and detect any infected person before they enter into the country to create more issues. The crisis is not being taken lightly and the national center for disease control and prevention has been working hard towards developing any form of vaccine that would provide relief to infected people. The coronavirus is supposed to be a self-healing disease that goes on its own, but the recent MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome )and SARS coronavirus are what is rampantly spreading which is leading to the death of its victims.
