Does my Employer Care?

If you own/operate a business and it is successful and thriving, you must be doing something right. I am quite sure you have done absolutely everything yourself. That is why it's thriving. Why I bet you don't even sleep anymore. You are doing every single job for your business yourself. You do not need anybody else. It's all YOU baby.

I know people that believe this, and either die from a heart attack or are bankrupt within 2 years. I don't care if you are your only employee, you rely on somebody for something. It can get real basic, like electricity. Even if you have a solar system set up, in your self built log cabin, high on a mountain top, you have relied on somebody doing something to get there. I'm writing all that, to write this.

Learn to appreciate the little people that helped get you where you are. Many times people in Owner/Operations/Management/Supervisory/Lead/ect... often forget where it is they came from. Somebody wiped your butt for you when you couldn't. Do not forget the people that took time to educate you, making it possible to achieve what you have, at the level that you have.

Many times employers forget to appreciate the lowly people that make up many of the jobs in a business that are essential to a successful business. The people that do these jobs rely on the company to pay them so they can pay somebody else to help them live and prosper. They are not as self sufficient as you are. They need people to help them live and prosper. The people they pay to help them prosper are people that pay other people to help them prosper and so on and so on...get it... it's called an economy. You make money and in turn, we make money and in turn they make money and in turn...get it... it's called an economy.

Now payroll factoring is used to keep employees paid while making sure there is enough operating capital left to maintain the business. Basically it is an equation that calculates the least amount of money, the business, can pay it's employees and still maintain operations and be successful. Maintaining operations is important so that company profits can be funneled into the pockets of Top Executives and Shareholders before the business becomes insoluble.

At this point the original person who started the business has died of a heart attack and nobody even remembers his name. The original business's conceptual integrity has been turned into a "mission Statement" that supports profits before integrity, but words it in such a manner that it sounds really great to the people who buy the crap the business sells.

Why employees leave employers is pretty simple stuff. I don't think you need a Washington based think tank to figure it out. The people that make the business work are not paid enough to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Do not get this twisted. There are many employers that take care of their employees. The employees that make the company what it is.

The payroll system concept is lost in translation when an employee needs that weekly paycheck to feed their children and keep a roof over the families head. A consumer based economy, service based economy, a free market economy, work well to maintain a capitalist form of government. Our Great Nation was built on this principle. However, somewhere down the line (and its documented) to few Capitalists seized power of the "free Economy" and wrestled it out of the hands of the honest people in Government. We the people are the Government. We should really look at ourselves.
