The use of CBD is not good news but there are still some misconceptions attached to the whole CBD cult. The first question somehow always starts with- “Is Marijuana Legal In California ?”

First of all, it does not matter because CBD is legal. Second of all yes, even marijuana is legal in California. The thing with CBD is that it is also a chemical present in Hemp and that is why it is that much easier to get your hands on it. 

CBD is a wellness elixir. It is a proven effective way to deal with pain and inflammation. It also works as a great sleep aid. Now if it has so many qualities, do you really think the wellness and beauty industry would not find some kind of application of the product in the goods. Remember the collagen flooding? It is happening all over again. 

Here is a list of products where CBD with no real benefit exists. 

CBD Mascara

The most baffling for number one. For CBD to work it needs either topical or oral application.  This is why this product makes no sense. CBD might give your lashes a creamy texture but the same effect is actually found in almost every kind of oil. 

Also, no mascara actually makes its way to your skin when putting it on the eyelashes.

CBD Athletic Wear 

As a general observer, you need CBD inside your system for it to actually work. Not on top of your body.  This is another one that makes no sense unless the whole outfit is one big transdermal patch. Which it is not. So, try to not grab this off the shelf.

CBD Halloween Gummies 

If you can buy CBD, you have to be of legal age. Which is about 21. So if you can buy it legally, my question would be why would you want to have kiddie bears? There are some great adult candies that not only taste better but also manage to get the work done in a much better way.  

Plus Halloween candies are for children, you can’t give CBD to a child unless it is mandated by the doctor, So. this product is weird for me. 

CBD Shampoo/Conditioner /Soap

I reiterate products like shampoo and soaps wash off from your body or scalp or wherever you are using them. So, why would you pay extra to put CBD in it? For the healing properties of CBD to shine through one needs to ensure that it is applied with care to the affected area. 

CBD Toothpicks 

These are an important part of our life. Those pesky food bits need prodding by a toothpick to get out of our mouths. In that vein, unless you eat the toothpick no CBD will actually make its way inside your system. You will reap none of the benefits associated with CBD.

CBD is a great addition in our wellness regimes, it has a lot of tangible benefits. But these products are not helping anyone at all. On the contrary, they are just money grabbers which you should avoid at all costs.
