Overview

Kidney failure is also known as an end-stage renal disease (ESRD). It is the last stage of chronic kidney disease that needs kidney failure treatment in Ayurveda. Kidney failure is the condition of the kidneys when they have stopped working well enough to let you survive without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

Causes of kidney failure

Kidney failure can be the result of several conditions. These causes are also responsible for the determination of the type of kidney failure. Some of the causes of kidney failure are:

Loss of blood flow to the kidneys – Sudden low blood flow to the kidneys can lead to prompt renal failure. Heart disease, heart attack, kidney or liver scarring, dehydration, allergic reaction, severe infection, and high blood pressure are the major cause of the low blood flow to the kidneys.

Urine elimination problems – when your body is incapable to pass the urine. This may result in the toxins being overloaded in the kidneys. Some of the cancers can block the urine passage like colon, cervical, bladder, and prostate (that is more common in men). Other conditions are also responsible for the other kidney problems such as kidney stones; enlarged prostate, blood clots, damaged nerves that control the bladder.

A blood clot in or around your kidneys – It is not a common condition as it can cause severe damage to the kidneys. It may cause a life-threatening injury, that’s why it must be managed timely. In some cases, blood clots are also responsible for acute kidney failure. In that condition, you may need to get acute renal failure treatment in Ayurveda, which safe and hazards-free.

Infection – Having repeated severe kidney infection is also responsible for the damage done to the kidneys. They are also responsible for chronic kidney disease. Sepsis is the infection that affects the kidneys.

Drugs and alcohol – abuse of drugs and alcohol can lead to severe kidney damage or kidney failure. These don’t damage your kidneys directly. They harm the kidneys by some biological event that triggers outside the renal system.

Vasculitis – It is the inflammation of the blood vessels that may happen when the body’s immune system attacks the blood vessels of your body. The reason for this health condition is still unknown, and it can also affect the arteries, veins, and capillaries.

Glomerulonephritis – It is the inflammation of the small blood vessels in the kidneys. The inflammation is caused due to the damage caused to the small filtering units of the kidneys.

Hemolytic uremic syndrome – It involves the breakdown of the red blood cells following by the bacterial infection.

Multiple myelomas – It is the bone marrow cancer. Renal failure is the complication in kidney patients with multiple myeloma that is responsible for the increase in the number of the patient. In the majority of the cases, the impairment is caused due to the accumulation of the toxins in the kidneys that result in obstruction. For the prevention of acute kidney failure, you just need to get the acute renal failure treatment in Ayurveda.

Scleroderma – It is an autoimmune condition that may affect your skin and kidneys as well.

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura – It is the disorder that causes the blood clots in the small blood vessels that can obstruct the proper urine flow.

Chemotherapy drugs and some certain medications – No doubt, these medicines can cure your other illnesses but can be responsible for the damage done to the kidneys.

Uncontrolled diabetes – Diabetes is one of the main reasons for kidney problems. Improper management of the blood sugar level may lead to the failure of the kidneys. Therefore, Kidney failure treatment in Ayurveda can manage these causes without any side-effect. Ayurvedic treatment not only focuses on curing the illness, but it also focuses on providing the overall health of the person.
