Go Mobile

Google focuses more on mobile optimization these days than it does on desktop optimization. In fact, Google tends to disregard websites that are not optimized for mobile.

The reason behind this is that people are already spending more than double the time on mobile devices than on desktops. It is more efficient for Google to simply show results that work both on desktop and mobile. Otherwise, mobile users would have trouble with some of the search results not working well on their devices.

Semantic Search and Intent Optimization

When someone searches a keyword, Google’s search result won’t always bring up an exact match to that keyword. (Depending on how complex it is) Google aims to determine potential user intent or what people might expect from such a search.

This is why you need to optimize your own keywords to fit these potential options.

Voice Search

Voice search has almost reached the 50% mark even today. By 2020, we expect it will reach 50%. This means that nearly half if not more of your traffic is tied up in voice searches. If you haven’t optimized for this or the previous two that I’ve mentioned, get cracking today!
