KALIA Yojana Odisha Launched on 21 December 2018 by CM Mr. Naveen Patnaik. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to small, marginal farmers and landless agricultural laborers of the state.

Under Kalia Yojana, the government will provide 5 types of benefits to the beneficiaries such as: 

1. Support for farming
2. Support for livelihood
3. Financial help
4. Life cover
5. Interest-free crop loan

Benefits Under Kalia Yojana :

In Odisha states, a total of 5 types of financial assistance is provided to small, marginal farmers and landless agricultural laborers. All five benefits are as follows:

• Assistance for farming — Rs. In Rabi and Kharib seasons, there are 30 lakh small and marginal farmer families per 10000 families.
• Assistance for Livelihood — Rs. 12500 to 10 lakh landless agricultural houses for livelihood activities.
• Financial Assistance — Rs. 10,000 per year to 10 lakh unsecured agricultural households and landless laborers.
• Life insurance cover — Life insurance of Rs. 2 lakhs and additional personal accident cover Rs. 2 lakh to 57 lakh houses of cultivators and landless agriculture. worker.
• Interest-Free Crop Loan — Now all crop loans up to Rs 50000 at zero interest or interest-free. Kalia Yojana will be about Rs 10,000 crore under the total expenditure. Odisha Kalia yojana will definitely improve confidence in the farmers of the state. Odisha government will always try to provide a better option to the survivors of Odisha natives.
