Dressing-Up Your Newborn In Summer—Problem Simplified!

Are you all prepared for the “mommy-to-be” tag?  Is your due date pinned around summer?  If yes, you need to get ready for a lot!

Warmer weather has different effects on newborn babies.  From your baby’s health to what they are going to wear, all the protective measures need preparation and proper guidance.  In case you happen to live in a tropical region where the sun blazes every day, make any amendments before you bring your little bundle of joy from the hospital.

Today, with the onset of e-commerce and availability of newborn baby products online, it is not that hard to be prepared for the arrival of your baby.

Here are some tips on how to tackle it all! 

1. Sort The Clothing Problem Out!

While you might want your baby to look pretty or handsome with beautiful clothes, it's crucial that they can breathe in the clothes they're wearing.  Go for clothes with ventilation or buy cotton products for newborn babies.

If you feel confused about what to buy, you can always go for onesies!  Always check the sleeves and make sure they are either half or loose enough for the baby’s skin to breathe.

Newborns are not likely to walk early so there's no need to invest in socks or shoes during the early months.  However, for air-conditioned environments, it is recommeneded that you keep baby feet protected and a pair of cotton socks would work perfectly. 

2. Sleep Time With Baby—Should You Be Worried?

Honestly, it is a time when most parents worry about their little munchkin!  First things first; before putting your baby in bed, always make sure that they are hydrated.  Some parents, while buying baby products from online store, order a baby monitor that tells you the temperature in the nursery.  If your baby is in swaddling, make sure that the blankets are completely breathable and are made of a cotton material.  In summer, the perfect idea for a newborn baby is to have them wear a diaper and onesie. 

3. Taking Them Out For Walks!

Always check the temperature outside before heading out for a walk.  Timings are indeed important because, of course, you want to avoid the hottest part of the day, i.e. noon and afternoons.  Don’t forget to buy a baby carrier or sling from the stores that offer newborn baby products online to make sure the walk is comfortable for the parents and the baby.
