Kings XI Punjab Squad For IPL 2020

The IPL 2020 is all set to begin from 29th March 2020, and the first match of the Indian Premier League 2020 will see the clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Kings XI Punjab will begin their IPL 2020 journey on 30th March as they will clash against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Kings XI Punjab has remained one of the teams with big names and despite having those big names they have reached the playoffs of the IPL only two times in the last 12 seasons of IPL. In the upcoming season, they will be led by the new sensation of T20 cricket KL Rahul who has destroyed each and every opponent he has played for the Indian team in the recent series.

The Kings XI Punjab team retained 16 players from their IPL 2019 squad. The franchise purchased 9 new players from the IPL Auction 2020 and completed their squad for the 13th edition of the IPL. They also appointed Anil Kumble as their franchise Director.

Retained Players: KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, Sarfaraz Khan, Nicholas Pooran, Mandeep Singh, Mohammed Shami, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Arshdeep Singh, Hardus Viljoen, M Ashwin, Harpreet Brar, and Darshan Nalkande,

Traded: Krishnappa Gowtham (6.2 Cr.) and Jagadeesha Suchith (20 Lakhs)

Bought Players: Glenn Maxwell (10.75 Cr.), Sheldon Cottrell (8.5 Cr.), Chris Jordan (3 Cr.), Ravi Bishnoi (2 Cr.), Prabhsimran Singh (55 Lakhs), Deepak Hooda (50 Lakhs), James Neesham (50 Lakhs), Ishan Porel (20 Lakhs), and Tajinder Dhillon (20 Lakhs)
