One more advantage associated with continuous ink supply system is that they have transparent bottles, making it easier to check the ink levels. Also, just like regular cartridges, these come in a variety of colors like red, yellow, blue, magenta, light cyan, etc. Because of no more cartridges you just have to take the trouble of replacing the normal cartridges with the CIS cartridges which are connected silicon tubings. Another plus point is that these CIS ink reservoirs are easily refillable because of their large size and hence all in all, CIS is better than regular cartridges as long as they are compatible with your printer.
