Rajasthan Royals Squad For IPL 2020

The IPL 2020 is all set to begin from 29th March 2020, and the first match of the Indian Premier League 2020 will see the clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Rajasthan Royals will kickstart their IPL 2020 on 2nd April as they will play against Chennai Super Kings at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. 

Rajasthan Royals failed to make an impact in the Indian Premier League apart from winning the 1st edition of IPL. Three times after winning the inaugural season they made it to the playoffs but failed to reach the finals, and in between that RR along with CSK was suspended for 2 years.

As the team has traded Ajinkya Rahane with Delhi Capitals they have named Steve Smith as their Captain for the upcoming IPL 2020. RR has very big and popular overseas players like Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, etc. and every year they go for young and emerging players. The Rajasthan franchise has suffered a huge loss even before the IPL Schedule was out and that is Jofra Archer might not feature in the IPL 2020 due to injury.

Rajasthan Royals retained 14 players for the IPL 2020 and has purchased 11 players in the IPL 2020 Auction and completed their squad for the 13th edition of Indian Premier League.
