1. THE VAN GOGH MUSEUM:

Van Gogh Museum is the worlds most significant art galleries and also the second most visited museum in the Netherlands. It is opened in 1973 and houses the worlds largest gathering of Van Gogh paintings. There are more than 200 paintings, 500 drawings, 700 letters which are been included in the collection, as well as copious works and related materials from his contemporaries.

2. THE WEST CHURCH:

Amsterdam’s West Church is the most popular church in the city. Its 85m tower, commonly known as “langer jan” is the premier in the city, and on the tip spire is a large facsimile of the emperor’s crown, placed there in memory of Emperor Maximilian.

3. THE ROYAL PALACE:

 The Royal Palace is based upon the architecture of primeval Rome, the peripheral is firmly traditional, while the core is brilliantly furnished, its apartments bejeweled with a wealth of reliefs, embellishment, marble sculptures, and friezes along with ceiling –paintings by Ferdinand Bol and Govert Flinck. The prime and the most significant room is the council Hall, extravagantly decorated and one of the most stunning staterooms in Europe.

4. THE JEWISH HISTORICAL MUSEUM:

The Jewish Historical Museum is housed in four redundant synagogues. It’s a large collection of religious artifacts such as silver Torah containers, Torah robes, and decorated Torah headdresses, as well as hangings and ceremonial canopies. It also has a library where there a lot many books which you can read. In short there are lot many things there to see and get knowledge about the history of Amsterdam.

5. THE STEDELIJK: AMSTERDAM’S MUNICIPAL MUSEUM:

This museum is one of the remarkable modern art collections. The museum features works by number of renowned art movements, including De Stijl, Rosenguist and Warhol. Its collection of lot many paintings, sculptures and art which make it a most attractive place for tourister to visit.
