WoW Classic tips: 9 tips for any player

These WoW Classic tips will help anyone who skips the recent release of the long-awaited World of Warcraft Classic. Whether you're playing WoW Classic for the first time or being a Warcraft veteran, it's hard to deny that much has changed in the last 15 years, but we believe that these basic WoW Classic tips will help you start your journey as you go back in Time through Azeroth. Of course, you shouldn't expect to reach level 60 in a couple of days, but these tips will help you become familiar with the old school MMO as you get familiar with WoW 8.3 boost.

1. Get bags as soon as you can

If you are lucky, you may see a bag drop while you are searching, but if not, then you have two methods to obtain it. You can create them yourself with the profession of tailoring, or ask in general or commercial chats to see if there are tailors who can make them for you; Most players will be happy to make them if you have the necessary floor mats and can only ask for a small tip, instead of a flat rate. Do not dispose of your bags while updating; use them for additional bank space or save them for later.

2. Loot everything!

The space of the bag is very important in WoW Classic, but so is gold if you want to allow yourself the ability to ride and a mount at level 40. Therefore, it is best for you to collect everything that enemies fall, Even if it means visiting a provider more times than you want. Gray items (trash) can be sold immediately without worry, but manufacturing reagents may (or may not) be useful later.

3. Learn a profession (or two)

Professions are a great way to make gold or create teams that you can use to make your life easier while you're in Azeroth. However, it is worth investigating a little before taking the step, so you know what are the best professions to learn with your class. As an example, hunters will not be wrong when choosing Skinning and Leatherworking, since the latter allows you to manufacture leather and mail equipment.

4. Don't buy all your skills

Every two levels, you should visit your class coach to see what new skills are available to buy, but this does not mean that you should buy everything as it becomes available.

5. Group if you can

While the first ten levels or so are not too painful, it is certainly worth grouping with other players to make the missions much more manageable. Even non-elite missions can be incredibly painful if you try to do them alone, especially when enemies are densely grouped in an area.

6. Play with your key combinations

While there's nothing wrong with the default key combinations, if you're used to playing modern Warcraft, or even if you're new to Azeroth altogether, it's worth playing with your key combinations and changing things to your liking. I never turned the keyboard, so for me, one of the first things I did was to move the strafe keys down to 'A' and 'D', which releases 'Q' and 'E' for skills.

7. Consider using add-ons

You may avoid using WoW Classic add-ons to keep the experience as close as possible to the original, but it is worth checking out to see what is available. Obviously, it all depends on personal preferences and you should play the game as you choose, but there is no compliment that avoids the approximately 50,000 deaths (possibly a slight exaggeration) that you will accumulate before reaching the maximum level.

8. Go at your own pace

You will soon discover that WoW Classic is a completely different experience than modern Warcraft. Where the latter is about the content of the end of the game and reaches the maximum level as quickly as possible to break the current content, WoW Classic has a much slower pace.

9. Leave an inn for an extra "rested" experience

When it's finally time to log out of WoW Classic and do something crazy like going out, you'll want to make sure you're signed out of a 'rest' area. Any place in a capital city works, think of Orgrimmar or Stormwind City, or if it is too far to travel, any inn will work. You can tell if you are in a rest area because your portrait next to your health bar will flash yellow and you can log out instantly, instead of waiting 20 seconds.
