International Management Institute Bhubaneswar,  established in 1981 and is counted as the  India’s first corporate sponsored business School following international standard curricula and being ranked among the top 15 B-Schools in India. It is recognized by AICTE and holds a track record of having 2000 corporate leaders and executives as it’s distinguished alumni. It is built on the four pillars of teaching, research, training and consulting.

IMI Bhubaneswar has a campus that has aesthetically designed exteriors, industry oriented labs, large classrooms, 2 multi- use well equipped auditorium with seating capacity of 200 members each, 5 conference rooms with 25+ seating capacity in each, 4 tutorial/ syndicate rooms with 25+ seating capacity, state of the Art library, incubation center, Computer centre and a network of 100+ computers modern video conferencing facilities, apart from  a sports complex and gymnasium,  all of which makes it an ideal environment for learning.

Even though it is a young institute,  IMI Bhubaneswar Ranking is at 66^th position in the NIRF 2019 survey conducted by the Ministry of HRD, government of india.  In fact, it has been rated higher than IIMs on parameters like, corporate linkages, intellectual capital, world class, aesthetically designed infrastructure etc. With a view to promoting and creating next generation entrepreneurs, the institution has trained over 250 participants in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and others apart from setting up its’ won Incubation Foundation.

IMI Bhubaneswar Courses include PGDM, PGDM ( part- time), FPM and Executive Education programs.

Training is imparted to the students via lectures, online simulations, case discussions; presentations, assignments & project work with the primary emphasis being on having interactive & participative methods of learning.

All programs follow the trimester system with the academic calendar beginning in June each year and each term having 11-12 weeks, at the end of the first 3 terms of the program, all students are enrolled in a mandatory industry summer training of 8-10 weeks.

The intake for PGDM 2019-21 is 108 with 69% male candidates and 33% female candidates and 73% being freshers.

For IMI Bhubaneswar Admission,  students holding a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline can download the admission bulletin, fill in the online application form & submit the same with the admission fee (non- refundable) of INR 1000 + GST for the Bhubaneswar campus  through credit card/ debit card/ online Transfer / Demand Draft ( drawn in favor of International Management Institute , payable at New Delhi, giving the IMI application form number, program & campus reference on the back of the DD.

Candidates need to have cleared one of the following entrance examinations: CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, based on these scores, educational background, marks in 10^th, 12^th ,graduation & work experience, shortlisted candidates are called for the final interviews which include Group Discussion, Extempore speaking, Personal interview besides other parameters.

To get admission  candidates need to pay IMI Bhubaneswar Fees of a total amount of Rs 11,79,000 in 6 installments  which covers the tution fees, text/ reading material, student welfare fund, library fee, IT fee and the alumni life membership fee . Students also need to remit a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000. Hostel fees and boarding charges are separate and need to be paid over and above the total fees.

Te amount can be paid through DD or pay order drawn in favor of “International Management Institute” payable at Bhubaneswar. In case of NEFT/ RTGS transfer, candidates need to mail the Admission office and mark a copy to the Accounts department providing details of the name of the applicant, bank name, UTR number, Date of Transfer & amount of transfer.

IMI Bhubaneswar Placements is a success story with 100% placement record every year with an average salary growth of 15-20 % on year on year basis. 66% were new companies to the campus for 2019 with a maximum CTC of INR 10.48 lakhs p.a, a median salary of INR 7.22 lakhs p.a and an average CTC of INR 7.15 lakhs p.a was offered.  Some leading recruiters are, DLF, Britannia, Vodafone, IMRB, Deloitte, HDFC Bank among others.
