Also, any dialer can detect if the number dialed is still in use or if it has been disconnected. If the phone doesn’t rings, or if it rings a certain number of times and the client doesn’t answer, the dialer automatically hands up and moves on to the next number. It may not seem like much, but if you add up the seconds in a day an agent would waste doing all of this on his own it comes out to quite some time, time that can be used in doing something more productive.
Love them or hate them, auto dialers have been around for some time now and have made a name for themselves in almost any industry. The fact of the matter is that they’re just so efficient businesses can’t really afford not to use them if they want to reach more clients and generate more revenue.
