Rajasthan Royals expect to get “some intense training” in Nagpur

After Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals also have started their camp for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Their first camp is taking place at the Royal Institute of Sport, Talegaon, from March 2-7.

RR camp start on musical note

 

The preparations have started for the 13th edition of the much-awaited cricket league. The first day of the camp saw the players participating in various activities as the camp began on a musical note. The intention was this off-the-field session was to increase the team bonding. This also worked as an ice-breaking session. The new players were welcomed, all got to know about each other. The players got involved in different activities without taking any stress and with an absolute free mind.

Rajasthan Royals have started this camp after having a three-day camp in Guwahati. The extreme weather conditions in both cities are expected to help the players understand different playing conditions.

The Nagpur weather is hotter and overall atmosphere is totally different from Nagpur. This definitely allows the players to get accustomed in various situations. Robin Uthappa, Anuj Rawat, Mayank Markande, Akash Singh, who were part of the camp at Guwahati, are also part of the team`s training camp in Nagpur. Varun Aaron and Yashasvi Jaiswal are the other names to take part in the camp. Sanju Samson, as per reports will join the camp on Tuesday.

Speaking about the camp, Zubin Bharucha, the head of cricket of the Rajasthan based franchise explained how this camp could work as a great chance to get some intense training ahead of the main tournament. He also added that more players would be joining the camp soon. "The camp at Nagpur is a great opportunity for us to utilise our in-house facilities and get some intense training under our belts. We`re getting more players joining us for this camp."
