It depends on the material of how you wash white laundry

When sorting the laundry, you should pay attention not only to the color but also to the material: your bed linen and towels do not belong in the machine together with the silk nightgown or the printed shirt. High temperatures tend to lead to a bright white, but some materials do not tolerate them.

When washing white linen, towels and bed linen can tolerate high temperatures.

Cotton and linen tolerate high temperatures, so you can choose a program of 90 or 95 degrees. Towels, bed linen, napkins, and underwear become hygienically clean. In principle, however, first, take a look at the washing slip: If the manufacturers indicate that you should wash the textile at a maximum of 60 degrees, this is considered the upper limit. Full detergent is the means of choice here.

Other substances do not tolerate high temperatures

Sometimes you are not allowed to wash silk or wool in the washing machine, in other cases the manufacturers indicate that they tolerate 30 degrees. For wool, there is a special program and the appropriate wool detergent. But you should also wash clothes made of synthetic fabrics and those with imprint at more than 30 to a maximum of 40 degrees – depending on what the washing slip recommends. Select a fine detergent and the setting "easy to care for".

Several home remedies are helpful as an additive or for pre-treatment before you wash your white laundry.

There are several tips on how to wash white laundry with home remedies and get bright clean again. Whether this help, however, depends on the type of stains and also on the material of the laundry. Try it in any case, because the funds are cheap and do not pollute the environment:

Vinegar: The acid removes dirt from the fibers and drives the muff out of yellowed laundry. Simply add a cup of vinegar to the washing machine's softener compartment and run the usual program. Alternatively, place the laundry in a solution of water and vinegar for two hours (at 2:1) before washing it normally.
    Soda or baking powder: Soda is a component of baking powder. Mix half a cup of it with the washing powder in the machine or add a packet of washing powder to the laundry in the drum.
    Citric acid: Place the laundry pieces in a mixture of water and citric acid, adding a tablespoon of acid to a liter of water. After at least eight hours Best Jersey Knit Sheets, wash the laundry as usual.
    Milk: In milk, too, it is the acid that is supposed to clean the fibers. Place the laundry pieces in cold milk with cold water (2:1 at a ratio) and add some ice cubes. After an hour, you will wash the laundry in the washing machine.
