Give Him your FAITH. That is all He wants.

One day a man walking along the street perceived the aroma of pepper soup coming from a canteen nearby. He decided to have a taste of this pleasant aroma. He went in and demanded for a bowl. The bartender brought his order and placed it on his table. The man starred at the bowl of soup not even lifting a hand.

                “Bartender! Bartender !!” the man shouted waiving to the bartender to come

                “Can you please taste the soup” the ma”

                “Why do you want me to taste the soup, is it salty?” the Bartender asked

                “Just taste the soup.” The man responded gently

                “Why do you want me to taste the soup, is it cold?” the Bartender asked again

                “Just taste the soup.” The man answered again getting slightly angry

“But why do you want me to taste the soup, is it too hot?” the Bartender asked the third time, looking confused.

“Will you just taste the soup!” the man shouted in anger

“Ok, ok I will taste the soup.” The Bartender said looking for the spoon.

 After a futile effort, he asked the man

                “But where is the spoon?”

                “ahan , ahan,” responded the man

                                                                Do not just go on your knees asking for something from God, and

                                                                expecting it to get done just like that. Give Him something to scoop

                                                                up your prayers from you. Give Him something to back up your request.

                                                                Give Him your FAITH. That is all He wants.
