Many people have installed wooden door in their homes, which are both practical and have a good decorative effect, but if you don't pay attention, the wooden door may be moldy. The wooden door manufacturers will tell you what are the solutions to moldy wooden doors?

1.Special cleaner

In the wet spring and summer when there is a lot of thunderstorms, you can use a soft soft cloth dipped in a special cleaning agent for the door to quietly wipe away the dirt during the usual cleaning of solid wood doors. This type of cleaning agent can form a protective film on the exterior of high-grade wooden doors. To a certain extent, it prevents water vapor from penetrating into the interior of the wooden door. However, in the boring seasons such as autumn and winter, the soft moist cloth is used to quietly scrub along the grain of the wood, and insist on the moisture content of the high-grade wooden doors to prevent cracking. Be careful not to wipe it with a dry cloth and avoid rubbing flowers.

2. Use quicklime

Quick lime powder can be placed in the gap between the door and the ground. The solid wood European-style door is relatively easy to be affected by moisture, and the wood simply swells and molds when wet. Therefore, the solid wood door should usually be placed at a distance of about 1 cm from the wall to avoid absorbing excessive moisture during the wet season. In addition, the door should be waxed regularly, and every 6-12 months, a special layer of wax is used to coat the door. Before applying wax, wipe off the old wax with a milder, non-alkaline soapy water.

3. Special essential oils

It can be wiped off with a clean soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent or door cleaner. Then apply a layer of door wax or door special oil to the moldy ones, and put a piece of soap or a gauze bag full of dry tea residue in the moldy area to help eliminate the moldy smell.
