Economics Cafe is Singapore's leading student in economics. Mr. Edmund Quek, a leading professor of economics, is a highly experienced and sought-after Singapore teacher. He holds an MSS from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He gives lecture notes on economics as a small contribution to society, hoping to find an easy and interesting study of economics.

The economics lecture notes are designed to explain the key economic principles that students need to learn while studying economics at the A-level. He also authors other books on economics, including JC Economics Model Essays (Economics Cafe, 2012) and A' Degree Model Essays (Pearson Longman, 2011).

He has taught economics for about ten-and-a-half years , dating back to his undergraduate days. He has taught different forms of economics in different colleges, including Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Economics, Cambridge International GCE 'A' Level Economics, London Edexcel GCE 'A' Level Economics, Australian Matriculation Economics, Advanced Placement Economics, and London Economics University. He only taught Hwa Chong.

Being a well-read person, he can teach economics with real-world examples that will not only help students with economists to do well in economics tests, but will also allow them to understand economic events and issues around everyday life.
