Correct use of ultraviolet lamp

1. The ultraviolet light source cannot directly illuminate the human body. Also, do not look directly at the ultraviolet light source. Should wear protective glasses or sunglasses when operating disinfection lamp, because ultraviolet irradiation may cause skin erythema, eye conjunctiva stimulation and easy to fatigue; Ultraviolet disinfection process will produce a certain amount of ozone, should be in the end of disinfection immediately after the window ventilation.

2. Install ultraviolet equipment in a standard way. Ultraviolet lamp disinfection usually USES ultraviolet ray with wavelength of 253.7nm to sterilize. There are certain requirements for the use of space and height, and the sterilization effect should be better if the lamp is installed in the irradiation range of 1.8m to 2m high and 1.2m around the ground.

3. When using ultraviolet disinfection, the control switch should be independently separated from the lighting switch, and marked with a clear warning label, the installation height should be higher than the general lighting is appropriate, the control can be used timing control, or increase the human body sensor, the light to ensure the safety of the use of ultraviolet lamp, to avoid accidents.

4. In order to ensure the ultraviolet radiation intensity and effect, the surface of the ultraviolet lamp should be kept clean. In use process, should keep the surface of antiseptic lamp clean, if discover lamp tube surface has dirt, grease, answer to turn off power in time shut down wipe, the ultraviolet lamp that suggests frequent use needs to be wiped with 75% alcohol every week; When indoor air is disinfected with ultraviolet lamp, the room should be kept clean and dry to reduce dust and water mist. The irradiation time should be appropriately extended when the temperature is lower than 20℃ or higher than 40℃ and the relative humidity is more than 60%.

5. Calibration of ultraviolet intensity meter (intensity test) at least once a year. Specific parameters please consult manufacturers and dealers.

Method of measuring the intensity of ultraviolet lamps

The ultraviolet sterilization lamp tube in use should be in 3 ~ 6 months with ultraviolet radiation illuminance meter to make an intensity detection, with ultraviolet radiation illuminance meter to make a measurement calibration, in order to maintain accuracy, find the lamp tube with unqualified intensity should be replaced in time.

We do it by chemical indicator CARDS,

1. After opening the ultraviolet lamp tube for 5 minutes, place the chemical card at a vertical distance of 1 meter under the ultraviolet lamp, with the patterned side of the chemical indicator card facing up;

2. The ultraviolet lamp is irradiated for 1 minute (the chemical card will have different color changes);

3. Observe the color block of the indicator card and compare it with the standard color block, then read the irradiation intensity.

The test results take 10w as an example:

1. The new ultraviolet sterilization lamp shall be qualified if its ultraviolet illumination is not less than 30uw/cm;

2. If it is the ultraviolet lamp tube in use, it should not be less than 20uw/cm to be qualified.
