If you are about to own a horse, then there is so much to prepare and learn. You will need to get ready with not just the essential riding equipment, you will also need to know all about taking care of a horse and how to groom it. Equipment for Your Horse

Step one in owning a horse is being responsible about taking care of them. You will need to be ready with all the equipment needed for it from feeding to protecting. For feeding you will need a Bucket made from non-toxic materials for feed, a water trough, measuring cups to mix the feed,and a stick or a wooden spoon to stir the mixture.

Apart from feeding your horse, you will also need equipment to groom it. Grooming essentials need to include a halter leather or a breakaway halter, a hoof pick, lead ropes, a curry comb, a mane comb, a body brush and a fly/insect repellent and horse masks.

Enough Space

Essentials are not only gathering the necessary equipment for horse grooming and riding. Part of taking care of your horse is giving making sure they get to live in a healthy and comfortable environment. This means ensuringthat you have enough space to keep a horse and let it run and play. You cannot let a horse grow or live in small space either.

If you are living in townhouse or a house with a small yard, this will not be sufficient. You will need to ensure that you have enough space for a horse to be safe and comfortable. Apart from this, you will also need to fence the space and have a shelter to keep your horse safe from the extreme weather conditions.

Riding Essentials

The final step in owning a horse is making sure you have the right ridingessentials. The basic riding essential list should include these things; saddle with girth or cinch, saddle pad or blanket, helmet, harness with bridle, safety stirrups or, riding boots, horse float or trailer needed to transportation and proper clothing for the outdoor riding. You will need to make sure you have these basic horse-riding gear before you start to have your first riding lesson.

This equipmentis specifically made to keep the riders safe and comfortable when riding. These equipment needs to be maintained well and in case one break or you lose it, replace it immediate. Do not forget the safety measures when you go out riding.

Owning a horse and learning horse riding is not a simple task. If you are going to own a horse or start riding horses, you will need to be responsible and careful. You will also have to commit some of your time to take care of feeding and grooming as well as to take care of your own riding equipment.
