Rumour | Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 720G and 6

Xiaomi will announce the Redmi Note 9 series next week, and now it looks like Geekbench has announced what chipset will decorate the Note 9 Pro. Although we already know that the device has four rear-facing cameras, the processor that delivers the declared "maximum performance" of the device remains unconfirmed.

However, according to Geekbench, this chipset could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. Geekbench was made aware of us by @ Sudhanshu1414 and identified the SoC of an alleged Redmi Note 9 Pro as "ARM Implement 81 Architecture 8 Variant 15 Part 2052 Revision 15". This is the same identifier as in Realme RMX2061, the code name of Realme 6 Pro. The main difference between redmi Note 9 vs Redmi Note 9 pro is the cpu.

Realme equips the 6 Pro with the Snapdragon 720G. It follows that the "ARM Implement 81 Architecture 8 Variant 15 Part 2052 Revision 15" of the Redmi Note 9 Pro is the same chipset. Interestingly, despite 2 GB less RAM, the Redmi Note 9 Pro achieved a better multicore score than the Realme 6 Pro. While the Realme 6 Pro appears to be able to achieve a multi-core score of 1,700 at best, we wouldn't recommend drawing conclusions from a benchmark.
