Many cannabis research and studies prove the medical benefits of this herb. Here are some of them:

1-Stop Growth of Cancer

It was found in a study that the cannabidiol can stop cancer but stopping a gene called ID-1. The researchers have reported that the use of CBD may prevent the disease from spreading.  Marijuana use works to slow down tumor growth in the brain, breast, and lungs.

2-Prevent Alzheimer

THC is an active ingredient present in Marijuana, which slows the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. THC slows the formation of amyloid to working against the enzymes in the brain that make them. These plaques kill the brain cells, which can potentially lead to Alzheimer’s disease.

3-Glaucoma Treatment

Marijuana can be used to treat glaucoma. It increases the pressure in the eyeball, which injures the optic nerve and eventually leads to the loss of vision. Many studies show that Marijuana smoking can lower the pressure in people with normal pressure and also those with glaucoma. The effect of the drug can prevent blindness.

4-Reduce Arthritis Pain

The use of cannabis reduces pain and inflammation. It also induces sleep and may relieve the pain and discomfort for those affected with arthritis pain due to rheumatoid.

The researchers gave rheumatology gave their patients cannabinoid-based pain-relieving medicine for two weeks. These patients reported a significant reduction in pain and better quality sleep as compared to the placebo users.

5-Reduce Epilepsy

The study showed that Marijuana use could control epileptic seizures. Some researchers gave the Marijuana extract to epileptic rats, and the drug stopped the seizures in a few hours.

It is found that the THC controlled the seizures by binding the brain cells which are responsible for controlling and regulating relaxation.

6-Ease Sclerosis Pain

The use of Marijuana stops the adverse neurological effects and multiple spasms that are caused by multiple sclerosis. In a study, it was found that Marijuana may ease the painful symptoms of multiple sclerosis.

The patients did not respond to the other medications, but after smoking Marijuana for a few days, they reported less pain. THC in the pot bonds the receptors in the nerves and the muscles to relieve the pain.

Finally,

With more cannabis research going on, many more uses of medical marijuana will be explored, and many more benefits will be there.
