Chicken soup is something which has become a treat for the soul for years. But even before that it was used by our mothers and grandmothers as a bowl of medicine to treat all kind of physical maladies. In fact, that is the main reason that we still treat the good old clear chicken soup as a remedy to cure cold. But what magic lies in that bowl which can serve as a health booster?

Well, there has to be something substantial otherwise it would not have been there in the run for so long.
