Stainless steel kitchen sinks - Cleaning

How many times have we not thought about cleaning the sink in our kitchen? To use a cleaner, to use a sponge, alcohol, dish soap etc? And with that bleach what finally happens?

It all starts with the type and type of sink. Depending on the type of finish, we should also use different cleaning methods.

Let's start with the "cleaning" tools. In general, the sails & sponges we use in the kitchen do not scrape the stainless sink. If the surface of the sink is textured, you may need a slightly different sponge with a not so rough surface to allow the sink to be cleaned a little more easily.

IMPORTANT! It is advisable to scrub the sink based on the direction of the "water" it makes inside, so as to reduce the chances that the original finish will be damaged in the long run.

TIP: Have a scrub / cleaner test at an invisible sink spot!

The easiest & fastest cleaning is the frequent cleaning of the sink with soap & water to remove dirt. Sure, they can do our job faster, but the hard (wild) surface sponges hurt the stainless in the long run. Any cleaner we use in the kitchen sink should be rinsed immediately after cleaning. Wiping with a diaper at the end of cleaning will make our sink shine new.

What to Avoid in Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks:

Chlorine bleach: If you want to use such a cleanser, dilute it with water and rinse well

Citric acid, hydrochloric acid, bleaching detergents, sodium chloride (salt), mayonnaise, silverware, chlorine cleaners, sulfur & sulfur must be avoided if we want our sink to withstand the passage of time.

Highly promising abrasive powders (!), Wire sponges, pointed or sharp cutting tools or kitchenware can cause our sink to be damaged without any correction.

WARNING: Using stainless steel tools in stainless steel! Contact of stainless steel with stainless steel will cause strong galvanization, where in the presence of an electrolyte (e.g. ambient humidity), the formed anode of the battery (eg iron) will strongly oxidize. This will cause the brown-orange rust to appear immediately on the sink, on the stainless steel surface.

Using this guide & with a little patience, the stainless steel sink will last a long time and every time it is cleaned, the surface will be like the first day you installed it!

Bathroom Batteries - Presentation

Bathroom batteries are probably the most sensitive category among bathroom items. We use them daily, they are perhaps the most used of the rest of the space, they are involved in the decoration of the bathroom, yet they are a category particularly sensitive to personal hygiene and the environment.

Let's see why a bath battery needs special care when choosing. Bathroom batteries come in contact with water and then with our bodies. If the water has suffered any deterioration, then it may have an impact on our health in the long run.

The interior of a bathroom faucet is made of brass, on which the mechanism is mounted, and then painted in our known silver color (chrome plating). There are two points to keep in mind when producing the production process: the quality of brass and the quality of chromium.

Brass is made from the union of certain metals. One of these is zinc, for which many studies have been done on my fitness for use in our daily lives. If zinc levels are high during production in bathroom batteries, the result is a reduction in the cost of the finished product, as zinc is cheaper than other metals. offering a competitive price to the end consumer. On the other hand, however, it may be worth a second thought about the appropriateness of the material for its contact with water in our daily lives.

The second factor is the quality of the chroming, the dyeing. Have you noticed that on some batteries, after some use, the battery starts to peel off? This is because of the paint, which because of poor quality, can not withstand everyday use. Of course, the same can happen by the way of cleaning. Even the best bath battery does not withstand the hard cleaners, which in the long run cause
