Displaying Cabinet Doors to Customers Made Easy

Posted by ezdoordisplay on March 25th, 2020

My showroom had been ranked in the top three for six years running. As my customer base grew, I steadily increased the products on display. This made the premises look cluttered and untidy. We were best known for our kitchen and bathroom furniture, particularly cabinet doors. The only way to showcase some of the best ones was to display them in the showroom window.

About a year ago, one of our customers recommended that I visit a website for cabinet door display. We had been looking for a way to show our entire collection to prospective customers without having to break a sweat. We searched for how to hang a cabinet door online. The products on the website were the solution to my problem – two parallel aluminium rails and hinges for the cabinet doors to be displayed on them. The maximum capacity for a cabinet door display was 30 pieces and it took 45” of space.

The next morning, I had an entire wall on one side of my showroom cleared. While reading instructions on the website about ‘how to hang sample door’ I called the manufacturer and placed an order. Like the instructions said, it was easy to install the cabinet door display rack.

The next morning, two display racks were delivered. As per the instructions I had read the previous day on how to hang a cabinet door, I mounted the aluminium rails on the wall. The next step was to attach two hinges to each cabinet door – longer one for the top and the smaller one for the bottom of the door. Once this was done it could be inserted into the rail. The maximum weight this display rack could take was 250 lbs.

As I inserted 30 cabinet doors onto each set of rails, my showroom started looking more spacious and well organized. My cabinet doors were not stacked one behind the other in a corner anymore. On the rack they could be viewed properly and compared with others. If required, they could be removed from the rail too.

After realizing how easy and effective it was to display my cabinet doors on rails, I decided to use them in my showroom window. My footfall increased greatly and people started giving rave reviews to us through social media. We took our work very seriously and now there was a way to show customers that we had a wide range of products to meet their needs and expectations.
