Dealing With Dizziness When Lying Down

Does dizziness when lying down really happen to you? Does it have you flummoxed, perplexed and on the verge of tears?

Believe it or not, but it does happen and it is just as important as your physical health. Dealing with dizziness can be embarrassing, stressful and downright embarrassing. But fear not; if you are able to deal with it in the appropriate manner, the effects of dizziness will eventually subside.

Like the physical health of your child, dizziness has to be taken seriously. This means that it is a symptom, rather than an illness. Hence, the best way to treat it is to go to your ENT doctor in Delhi for a consultation and give him a thorough examination.

Dizziness may manifest itself as having trouble sitting still, experiencing lightheadedness or even vertigo. In most cases, you will know when you are in this state of dizziness when you start feeling your heartbeat increase and when you find that your vision becomes blurred.

When diagnosed, the condition of dizziness can be treated with the help of two medications known as anticholinergic drugs and antimuscarinics. They are given orally or topically. Oral medication would include the following:

The commonly used anticholinergic drugs are acetaminophen and propantheline compounds, which are also called ergotamine derivatives. The ergotamine derivatives will cause you to feel faint or lightheaded. These drugs are known to help strengthen your heart muscles and increase your blood pressure which is only prescribed by Vertigo doctor in Delhi.

Antimuscarinics, however, are not for those who have heart problems or cardiac issues. For these people, a drug called diphenhydramine, which can also be used for allergies, is more suitable. It relaxes your blood vessels and dilates them. It will also help you to lessen your dizziness.

With the exception of the diphenhydramine, both medications are known to have bad side effects and can cause other complications. And for some, dizziness is just too much to handle at one time.
