6 Skincare Tips While Traveling

When you are on vacation or a business trip, practicing your skincare routine likely isn’t the first thing on your mind. However, leaving your organic skin care products at home may leave your skin feeling dry, dull, and lifeless. These tips and tricks can help you maintain healthy-looking, glowing skin during your trip.

Wear Sunscreen

First, always wear sunscreen while traveling, especially while on vacation. You are more likely to be out in the sun and will need extra protection. If you are on the beach or in the desert, reapply sunscreen often.

Prep Before the Flight

If you are flying, remember that long flights can dehydrate the skin. Depending on your destination and how dry the air is, you may want to increase or decrease how much moisturizer you use. During the flight, you can use a facial mist to revitalize your skin, as well.

Consider the Climate

Finally, as mentioned in a few other tips, you need to consider the destination’s climate. If you are heading to the desert, you will want a richer moisturizer. The same goes for a cold climate if you are on a ski trip, and you may want to put more moisturizer on. Visiting a tropical locale?
