Things Google My Business Should Update in 2020
Posted by OodlesMarketing01 on March 30th, 2020
There were a LOT of changes in the Local SEO in 2019. Google my business plays an important role in the branding of business. In the last year 2019, there were a few changes that were done in Google My Business. Google worked so hard so to improve the Google My Business product so much and it did at a certain point that helped every SEO Management Company. But still, there are few more changes that need to be done in GMB. Here are the 5 things I’d like Google My Business to update or change in 2020.
1. Customization inside GMB Insights
When you log in to the Google My Business dashboard, the options for Insights are limited. You can see the data of a week, a month, or a quarter on the graph. I would love it if Google would allow you to customize the date range as we can do it in Google Analytics. I’d want to see the data by month or by week instead of daily. So many businesses have high or low peaks on weekends, so it can be very difficult to analyze the graphs when the option is always set by default to show daily instead of choosing data range.
2. Add Questions and Answers to the GMB dashboard
Q&A should be added to the dashboard. Businesses still don’t figure out how to find the problems that users are facing. Many businesses still don’t have the access to add the Question and Answers section on their listing because it simply doesn’t exist inside the GMB Dashboard.
3. Show event post chronologically
Presently, when you add an event post inside the Google My Business dashboard, it shows the events in order based on when you posted them, not based on the date of the actual event.
Google My Business plays an important role for Internet Marketing Agency. It is the first impression on the customer like what they perceive about the company after seeing the Google listing.Top Searches - Trending Searches - New Articles - Top Articles - Trending Articles - Featured Articles - Top Members
