Playing Smart BlackJack

Posted by Nick Niesen on October 26th, 2010

To win by gambling, all of us need to play smart and act smart. Blackjack is a game with a very potential and if you play well, you can double your profits (but I advise you not to try making more than the double because that?s very unlikely).

If you?re unlucky and loose every time on other games like Roulette, Craps, Poker, etc. you can give a try on a different type of game: blackjack.

Blackjack counting system is very similar to Lucky 9. Blackjack lucky number is 21 and Lucky 9, as the name says, a 9. And it is a very simple game and easy to understand, play and master. I personally find it very very amusing.

The rules?
Before trying this funny game, you need to know the rules, obviously.

It?s simple to count the cards on blackjack: 2-10 should be counted as they are and face cards have a value of 10 point. The only one that changes that is the ace: the ace has a value of 1 or 11.

Some people say that the main goal of blackjack is to get cards with a value of 21 or nearest (20, 19, etc.). I disagree in some way, because I always play with to bust the house.

Let me give you a quick example: you have 13, you ask for a card and get 10: 13+10 = busted. You lose your bet. But the house shows a 5 and turn the other card: 10.. That?s 15 and they need to make more than 16 so they call for a card. The 10 value card that busted you, if you don?t ask for this card, the house busted itself and you win with only 13 points!

The tips?

Don?t call for a card if the house shows a card lower than 7. Only call for a card if you have 11 or less. The changes of the house get busted are big.
Don?t take Insurances: you can get insurance if the card showed by the house is an ace and if you take insurance you need to bet 50% of your original bet and then you can insure your main bet so that this bet return to you if the house has a blackjack. But if you do that, the house has already won at least 50% of your bet (the insurance) in case of not having blackjack.
Go for a table on which the minimum bet is not more than 5% of your total money.
Double when you can because that is the best advantage for you in blackjack so use that if your cards show potential!
Good luck!
