Bear Kits Provide Easy To Make Teddy Bears for Everyone

Are you wondering what activity for children will make your kid’s birthday party different from other parties?  Well, today, a more popular type of celebrating the birthday of a child is having a build a bear party.  Using bear kits is a great party idea and provides fun for the kids, because they are allowed to stuff and close their own toys.  The activity allows them to explore their creativity,   besides the fact that it works on the children’s hand-eye co-ordination.  To add to the good news is that they can take their creations home.

There are different types of bear kits.  Some do not require sewing, while others that need to be sewn to close provide floss and plastic safety needle. The other things contained in the kit include the plush bear skin are  the stuffing or polyfill, a wishing star insert, and a birth certificate that allows you to proclaim ownership of the bear.  Teaching the small children to build a bear is an ideal starting point for them to learn to craft. Stuffing, sewing, dressing, decorating the stuffed animal allow children to have lots of fun together.

After the bear has been stuffed enough, but before it is closed, you ask each child to make a wish, write it on the wishing star that is included on the bear kits, and place the star inside the bear to stay there forever. The birth certificate, as mentioned above, says that you are the owner of the bear. It also makes the bear a real member of your family.  If your build a bear kit requires no sewing, it should have a zipper at the back so it can be closed.  The zipper is one-way; it cannot be unzipped once it has locked.  You should have no worries about children opening it up and spilling the stuff.

Bear kits provide a fast and easy build a bear project.  Basically there are only 3 easy steps that kids can follow to create their own toy.

1.            filling  the bear skin with the stuffing provided in the build a bear kit,

2.            making  a wish and writing it down on the wishing star, and placing it inside the bear, together with the fillings,

3.            zipping up the bear.

Dressing up the bears after they have been closed is the next task, which is also as exciting and enjoyable.  There are a variety of teddy bear outfits that children can put on their new friend, for example, a Santa Claus outfit for Christmas, pirate clothes, princess outfit, simple t-shirts, ballet clothes, angel clothes, sweatshirt hoodie, and many more.  All of these outfits will make your bears so adorable.

Besides children’s birthday parties, the bear-making kits can be used also for fund raising parties for children’s’ causes and  for children’s parties other than birthdays where they will be asked to make two:  1 for themselves and 1 to give to a needy child.  You can also make a bear with your family during your get together party or when the night is stormy and your TV is not working.

Transform your child’s birthday party into build a bear one and these bear kits creations can be taken home too by your child’s friends after the party.
