Earth Defense Force 2025 Set for Xbox 360 and PS3 Next Year

Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will both offer a healthy dose of bug killing goodness in 2013 when Earth Defense Force 2025 is released.
The sci-fi shooter will feature four player co-op, so your friends and help you save Earth. This is the first time a console EDF game will have the four player options. Namco says there will be tons of missions to work through with your team.
No specific character classes were outlined, but the developers promise a host of EDF classes to choose from and a larger arsenal than ever before.
The most recent console installment in the series, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon was developed by Vicious Cycle. EDF 2025 passes the development duties back over to Sandlot; the studio that originated the game on Playstation 2.
